UCLG World Council 05/11/2018 - 08/11/2018 Madrid The World Council of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) took place from 5 to 8 November in Madrid. Barcelona Provincial Council is a member of this network. The Council's agenda included the Business Session of the UCLG Executive Bureau and meetings of various committees and policy boards, including the Policy Council on Territorial Multi-level Governance and Sustainable Funding, co-chaired by Barcelona Provincial Council. The World Council is the principal policy-making body of the UCLG. It decides the organisation’s policies and ensures that general policies decided by the General Assembly are implemented.
