És considerat un dels principals estrategs i líders d'opinió en l'àmbit de l'economia col·laborativa, els models oberts de negoci P2P i la innovació ciutadana. MBA per l'Esade Business School, l’Stockholm School of Economics i la NYU Stern School of Business, és fundador d'Ideas for Change i creador del projecte @Pentagrowth, metodologia de les cinc palanques de creixement exponencial de les organitzacions. Anteriorment, va treballar com a planificador d'estratègia, va ser cofundador de la incubadora Digital Mood i de l'espai multidisciplinari @Kubik, i va exercir com a professor de màrqueting a Esade. És coautor del llibre No som formigues: Un llibre sobre nosaltres, els humans, conseller d'OuiShare i secretari de l'Open Knowledge Foundation a Espanya.
