Saint Miquel of Balenyà incorporates at the Mesh Sitmun of local geographic information
The system permits the discharge and the extraction of geographic information at several formats and systems of coordinates.
The Municipal Entity Decentralised of Saint Miquel of Balenyà, of the region of Osona, has incorporated at the Local Mesh SITMUN (System of Municipal Territorial Information), created by Barcelona's Deputation, to give response at common necessities of the local bodies linked at the management of the territory.
Barcelona's the Deputation, through the Technical Office of Cartography and SIG Local, offers at the local bodies of the province a kick of management of the local geographic information that permits to visualise and analyse the territory, and also manage several projects of local competence. With this purpose, caters the ones of tools and free kicks, through the platform SITMUN, with the object to aid them at giving fulfillment at his competences at this field, of chord with the valid rule.
SITMUN is a platform that permits to share and publish cloaks of geographic information generated by the distinct departments of the Deputation, the local bodies and other administrations. One of his components is a system of transversal geographic information, that permits to visualise the information of continual form for all the territory, update geographic informations with distinct levels of fit, discharge informations of total or partial way, and relate data of themed distinct at an only map, with information updated and officer. The townships that are adhered at the Local Mesh SITMUN can enjoy of these features.
The system also permits to discharge geographic information at several formats and systems of coordinates, in addition to other functionalities, with the aim that the infrastructures of spatial data are compatible and interoperables at a community context and transfronterer, at fulfillment of the Director INSPIRE 2007/2/CE and his transposition at the Law 14/2010 (LISIGE).
