The IV Forum on Environment and Local World will celebrate to Món Sant Benet at Saint Fruitós of Bages (Barcelona, Spain), an unique world where to think, connect and work.

Món Sant Benet

Món Sant Benet is a cultural project, tourist and of leisure of a big singularity. An only group, where will find a mediaeval monastery to scarce metres of an innovative international centre of research in cooking. And everything in some incomparable natural surroundings.

Innovative visits guided to the monastery, an offer gastronòmica varied and of high quality, visits and activities to the Foundation Alícia (Diet and Science)... Saint world Benet merges the mediaeval art, the nature and the gastronomia to create a proposal of leisure and attractive culture and thought for all the publics.

THE SPACES 

- The Factory: to the building of the factory there is the reception, the restaurant The Deep, the Shop and rooms of congresses. During the IV Forum on Medium Ambient and Local World will celebrate the activities with the axes:

  • Connect. The Factory of the Opportunities. To the building The Factory will have of a space to show experiences and connect interests.
  • Work. We play us the future: we Work for the 2030. To the building The Factory will find us to share and debate the challenges to attain the aims in the horizon 2030

- Monastery of Saint Benet of Bages: the monastery has a more monumental part that splits of the mediaeval period, and the modernist part that was residence of estiueig of the painter Ramon Casas. We offer different routes for the mediaeval and modernist part, and finally go up to the campanar to enjoy the visits. The monastery has also of rooms for congresses.

During the IV Forum on Medium Ambient and Local World will celebrate the activities with the axes:

  • Reflexionem. The Forum of the Knowledge: in transition to the 2030. Al Monastery, will do an at work done recognition since the local world in the sustainable developmental field for reflexionar and debate on the future. Round tables and conferences.
  • They will program visits to the Monastery and his racons during the IV Forum on Medium Ambient and Local World.

- Foundation Alícia: centre of research in cooking in which find the cooking - laboratory, the auditorium and the childish cooking. They will program visits during the IV Forum on Medium Ambient and Local World.

HOW TO ARRIVE

FROM BARCELONA

– Public transport:

It exists one ticket combined of Railways that includes the trajecte there and back until Manresa Waystation with FGC, the voyage with bus of Transbages until Navarcles and the entry to the Monastery. The buses that link Manresa and Navarcles are the numbers 751 and 786. Since the bus stop of Navarcles until the monastery there is one trajecte on foot of some 15 minutes.

The trajecte Saint Barcelona – Manresa also can do through the line R4 of Rodalies RENFE. Once to Manresa, can complete the trajecte until Saint World Benet in taxi –there is a stop to the same train station- or in bus. If it opts for the public transport, it is necessary to displace until the bus stop of the square Spain of Manresa. It is necessary to take the line number 751 that links with Navarcles. Since the bus stop of Navarcles until the monastery there is one trajecte on foot of some 15 minutes.

During the IV Forum a shuttle bus service will be available from Manresa trains anb bus stations.

Road C-58 until Terrace, once there follow for the C-16 until reaching the exit 54 (St. Fruitós Of Bages – Navarcles) and of there take the N-141 direction Navarcles. To 450 metres will find the indicator of Monastery of Saint Benet, go out on the right and follow the road until World St Benet.

 

FROM TARRAGONA

– Public transport:

Half Distance RENFE Tarragona- Saint Barcelona, of here can take the train of Rodalies of the line R4 until Manresa, where can continue trajecte until Saint Fruitós of Bages with the buses numbers 751, 722, 715 and 712.

– Car:

Highway AP-7, in the direction Girona – France until the altura of the exit 25 to the To2, in sense Manresa. Once there, you follow the C-16 until reaching the exit 54 (St. Fruitós Of Bages – Navarcles) and of there take the N-141 direction Navarcles. Al fit of 450 metres will find the indicator of Monastery of Saint Benet, go out on the right and follow the road until World St Benet.

 

FROM GIRONA

– Car:

Highway AP-7 in south sense until the exit 8, to the altura of the CIM The Jungle. Once there, you take the C-25 in sense Vic until the exit 141B, follow the C-16 until reaching the exit 54 (St. Fruitós Of Bages – Navarcles) and of there take the N-141 direction Navarcles. Al fit of 800 metres will find the indicator of Monastery of Saint Benet, go out on the right and follow the road until World St Benet.

 

FROM LLEIDA

– Car:

Highway To-2 in sense Manresa until the exit 518, that serves to incorporate you to the C-25 in the direction Girona. When you reach the exit 141 To, follow the C-16 until reaching the exit 54 (St. Fruitós Of Bages – Navarcles) and of there take the N-141 direction Navarcles.
