Life eCOadapt50 publishes a new outreach resource to promote the culture of adaptation to climate change in Catalonia

The European Life eCOadapt50 project has published new outreach material with free access through its website, but only in Catalan. This initiative consists of a collection of 30 conceptual fact sheets designed by CCOO of Catalonia, with the aim of providing the different territorial stakeholders with rigorous and practical tools for raising awareness about the impacts of climate change and some of the adaptation actions that can be implemented.

The material has been conceived as a quick-reference tool to disseminate, in a clear and concise manner, the concepts, actions and technologies that define the current state of the climate issue. These fact sheets seek to facilitate knowledge transfer among the various sectors involved: public administration, the private sector, the scientific community, social agents and civil society.

Each fact sheet addresses key themes, ranging from cross-cutting concepts such as biodiversity or water management to technological solutions and specific strategies for the agricultural and livestock, forestry, fisheries and tourism sectors. This structure allows interested parties to identify opportunities for action adapted to their geographical and sectoral reality, promoting a coordinated and effective response to the risks identified.

The design of the fact sheets places emphasis on functionality and scientific rigor. This represents a commitment to precise and practical information, focusing on offering knowledge-based solutions to move towards a more resilient model.

With the publication of this compilation, the Life eCOadapt50 project aims to ensure that technical knowledge effectively reaches both territorial stakeholders and the general public, to help drive climate adaptation in our territory. The material can now be consulted and downloaded free of charge from the project’s website.
