LIFE eCOadapt50 launches an interactive viewer with the project’s climate change adaptation actions
The European project Life eCOadapt50 has launched an online viewer that allows users to consult, in a visual and structured way, the climate change adaptation actions that the project is implementing across the different participating territories. This new digital space, accessible through this linkand in the actions section has been designed as an open consultation and monitoring tool, useful both for project partners and for other people and organisations interested in learning about the initiatives being carried out on the ground.

The viewer is a dynamic and evolving tool that is regularly updated as the project’s actions progress. It is available in Catalan, Spanish, and English, with the aim of making it accessible to a wide range of audiences.

What can be consulted?

The viewer provides access to key information about the actions promoted within the framework of the project. Depending on the level of development and the information available for each action, the viewer includes elements such as the action title, identification code, sector, territory and/or leading organisation, the climate risk addressed, start date, indicative budget, implementation status, images and videos of the action, and a link to further information that redirects users to the project website, where the action is described in more detail.

One of the strengths of the catalogue is that it allows users to explore the actions through different types of visualisation, making consultation more flexible according to each user’s interests. On the one hand, actions can be viewed on a map, making it easy to quickly identify where the initiatives are being implemented across the project territories. On the other hand, they can also be consulted in a list format, which enables a more systematic and comparative reading of the available actions.

The viewer also includes different selection filters, allowing users to refine their search and display only those actions that meet specific criteria.

Beyond its internal usefulness, this catalogue also aims to be a tool to give visibility to the project’s work, share lessons learned, and promote the replicability of climate change adaptation measures in other territories.

With this new resource, LIFE eCOadapt50 continues to move forward in its commitment to provide practical, useful, and accessible tools to all stakeholders in order to strengthen climate adaptation from the territorial level.
