Strong participation in the dry stone wall construction workshop by Unió de Pagesos in El Perelló
El Perelló hosted in April a practical workshop on the construction and restoration of dry stone walls, organized by Unió de Pagesos within the framework of Life eCOadapt50. The activity took place in two sessions (April 11 and 19) and combined theoretical content with hands-on fieldwork. The 36 participants, guided by a master dry stone wall builder, learned the basics of this traditional technique and collaborated in the complete restoration of a wall.

The course also served to highlight the role of dry stone walls in soil protection, water retention, and the conservation of the agricultural landscape. The initiative was carried out with the collaboration of El Perelló City Council and local entities, and it sparked interest among agricultural professionals and people connected to the area. This training helps recover a traditional craft and strengthens the adaptation of rural areas to climate change.
