Collaboration and knowledge exchange are essential for Life eCOadapt50. This section presents European, national and regional projects, as well as organisations that share our commitment to combating climate change and building resilient territories. By publicising their work and strengthening connections, we aim to promote synergies, encourage the exchange of good practices and contribute to a more robust network of initiatives with common objectives.
Life Clinomics

The project (2016-2019) proposed implementing new investment processes for public entities, especially municipalities, as well as private companies in certain representative sectors, to reduce their vulnerability, anticipate climate impacts and increase their resilience with the aim of improving competitiveness and increasing employment.

Nadapta

This project aims to increase resilience to climate change in Navarre by integrating different sectoral policies in such a way that the fight against climate change is incorporated into their planning and development. It constitutes, therefore, a regional strategy, which enables progress in the different sectors in a coordinated way.

UrbanKlima

The main objective of the project is the deployment of the Basque Country's Climate Change Strategy -KLIMA 2050- in urban areas and to promote the energy and climate transition in order to achieve resilience in the Basque Country through the development of 40 actions.

ResAlliance

The Landscape Resilience Knowledge Alliance for Agriculture and Forestry in the Mediterranean Basin is a thematic network project. Its aim is to improve the flow of information and knowledge and increase the capacity of foresters and farmers to implement innovative landscape resilience solutions.

Pyrenees4clima

"Towards a climate-resilient cross-border mountain community in the Pyrenees"
The main objective of the project is to implement the Pyrenean Climate Change Strategy (EPiCC, by its initials in Catalan), the first European climate change strategy designed specifically for a cross-border mountain bioregion, and to promote resilience in the Pyrenees through the implementation of climate change adaptation measures.

Systematisation of nature-based solutions in Spain (E:SBN)

The project has carried out an extensive identification and compilation of nature-based solutions in Spain, as a benchmark for good practices for adequate adaptation to climate change in each territory. It has the support of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, through the Call for Grants for projects that contribute to the implementation of the National Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change 2021-2030 (PNACC, by its initials in Spanish).

Smart control of the climate resilience in European coastal cities - Score

SCORE was a four-year EU-funded project aimed at increasing climate resilience in European coastal cities. It addressed specific challenges related to sea level, coastal erosion and extreme weather events, using an integrated solution of smart technologies and nature-based solutions.

Natural Heritage Mission

It focuses on protecting, restoring and enhancing the natural resources of the Euro-Mediterranean area. Two governance projects work in close cooperation to expand the knowledge and results generated at European level, and to transfer and integrate them into effective policies.

CONCAT Living Lab

It is part of the European ECO-READY parent project, which seeks to achieve dynamic resilience for European agri-food systems by responding to socio-ecological challenges, biodiversity, sustainability, etc. Specifically, CONCAT LL aims to establish a multidisciplinary and collaborative living lab focused on responding to the challenges of climate change.

XCN – Network for Nature Conservation

The Network for Nature Conservation (XCN, by its initials in Catalan) is a second-level non-profit organisation declared to be of public interest. It is made up of associations, foundations, public administrations, companies, universities and research centres. Its mission is to promote nature conservation through social involvement, mainly through custodial entities and environmental volunteers, whom the XCN supports and with whom it works collaboratively, establishing alliances to make human activities compatible with the sustainability of ecosystems.
