Audit hídrica at all the Confreries of Fishermen of the townships included at the field of the GALP Coast Brava (7 + Cadaqués) for such to identify and promote solutions to improve the management of the water related with the activity pesquera.

Improve the efficiency at the use of the water of the sector pesquer

The Special Plan of performance at situation of alarm and eventual Sequera (WEIGHT), approved by the Generality of Catalonia the 8 of January of the 2020, establishes that those entities that are titulars of aprofitaments of water for uses that are not for the supply at the populace have to reduce his consumptions at a percentage established at the WEIGHT, at function of the state of drought declared at each moment.

At the case of the Confreries of Fishermen, as a entities consumers of water for his activity, becomes necessary to have of a document that analyse his consumption and propose an efficient management. At this context is born the act proposed centred at realising an audit hídrica at the distinct confreries included at the field of the GALP Coast Brava

Save water and sensitise at the users

The act has one rank of tall innovation since up to now does not have any survey focused at the improvement of the management of the water at the field pesquer at the territory of the Coast Brava. It foresees a notable impact at ambient level at the saving of the water and, indirectly, at the provision of aliments. Also it pretends that by means of the sensitisation the confreries are more responsible at the management of the water and emerge initiatives for being more efficient at the use of the water, so that the water of mesh can prioritise for other uses.

The act structures at 5 phases:

  1. Compilation of information and visits at plant: report with cycles of the water, consumptions and sizes implemented
  2. Analyses of results and proposal of strategies: report with results and proposal of acts (calendar and estimate).
  3. Priorització and quantization: report with order of priorities
  4. Implementation of solutions: chip and photo of each act with the saving of water expected.
  5. Report of results, communication and follow-up.
